     The Petaluma City School's Teaching American History program will strive to improve instruction and raise student achievement by helping teachers develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of United States history.

     The goal of the Teaching American History Project is to support programs that raise student achievement by improving teachers' knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of American history.
